Weird defensive substitutions

Three games in a row, the manager moved Joe Torre from catcher to first (for Norm Cash) and put Rodgers at catcher.

Meanwhile, the manager ignored my real substitutions (Kennedy for Killebrew at third, for one.)

I'm somewhat new at these mystery games. Anybody else notice a problem?

I have seen odd, random defensive moves by HAL, but they are pretty rare. What happened to you makes sense only if you accidentally checked the "Rem. 4 def sub with lead" box for Cash on the hitter's preferences page.

If/assuming this is not the case and since this happened three consecutive games, it might be worth a note to SOM support (onlinegamesupport@strat-o-matic.com) with a link to all three games.
