Just got back from holidays yesterday. I had a brain freeze about the Brewers only being in the AL until 1997, but someone rebooted my brain for me - thanks!

- tomwistar set a new W/L record with the White Sox
- jflatour's older Yanks did not set a team record, however this is JF's 4th straight playoff appearance
- gbrookes and lumberco are each making their 2nd trips to the AL playoffs

- This is only the 2nd playoff appearance for the older Yanks
- The White Sox and the "Other" expansion squad are back for the 3rd time
- The Midwest expansion team is in the playoffs for a remarkable 5th straight time!
