GB, looking forward to seeing what you got. Anyone else got somethign to share? That's what makes it interesting!

Heck no. I can't figure this game out for the life of me. I do well in ATG but this 2012 season is like Chinese to me. Some players are just impossibly underperforming....to the point I think pitchers would hit better. Kind of ridiculous....

I hear ya Corky, I keep waiting for this team to show a little life offensively. We have two players over .250  and four regular or platoons below .205.

Still, we're hanging in there so.... :?

No one else has any comments on their (or someone else's) ratings?

Looks like Big A and I have resumed our mirror dance from the previous NLD. We've both been hot and cold, streaky. :?

Haven't had a chance to chime in. Doing some remodeling in our home, haven't felt well of late, and lastly just don't have the same excitement for Strat. Two years running now wallowing in mediocrity hasn't put me in a good Strat mood. A dismal 1-run game record for two years now, I just don't have the desire very much anymore.

Jeep, always good to hear from ya and IIRC, you made the playoffs three times in a row (including a championship and a league record 105 wins and a league best record the other time :!:) before falling short this last time. You're not doing *that* bad!

In any case, always good competing with you. It's been 8 years. Can you believe that?

So I'm curious about your last moves. Why League and Garcia?

And Hawk, what about you? Why the moves? What are you hoping for?

Come on Biggie, you just had cold dice. You're more than welcome to play in my leagues. We'll go easy on you. :D

Glad to see everyone counted out my team despite a positive run differential. We'll quietly pick off the unsuspecting and move into the playoff discussion. Unfortunately, I drafted this team while traveling from Malaysia, Vietnam, China, and Chicago. Stupid me, I didn't check Cano's card to see had a nice BPHR roll in the middle of his card. Trading Cano to NYHawk's team didn't help Cano to break his cold streak but I'm hopeful he will in due course.

Dustin isn't anywhere in the same category as Cano but Dustin's play well

Dropping Peavy's card with his 2-10 record seemed sane as Koji Uehara has been lights out for me.

I loved Brandon Belt's card but Adam LaRoche's second tour with me might be the charm.

What turned for me is the team has solid defense and I'm not getting killed on the BPHRs

Still a lot of baseball to play.

Haha Semper, that quote was for Corky. You're easy to beat in ATG! Should I post a link to last year's Semifinal league we were both in? ;) 8-)

Talking about last year, I'm taking care that Dukie98 doesn't clinch home field advantage in the playoffs for E4

I'm now battling BruceF and DonEsq in two other leagues. In DonEsq's division, lost Pie Traynor for 25 out of the first 60 games, Manny 21 games and Wallace for 15 games.

I appreciate Joe's effort in this analysis. The granularity is impressive. I can't argue that my team's a playoff caliber squad.

On the other hand, my pitching is competitive and the SAFECO team isn't a doormat squad. We've a lot of baseball to play and I expect David Price's rolls will soon favor him versus the batters. Dave's a tough card but to lead the league in HRs allowed is amazing.

Man, I've been biting my tongue, waiting for things to turn around, but my team should NOT be last in runs scored and shouldn't be first in runs allowed either.

I mean, I know we're in a pitchers park, but we ain't doing anything on the road either. Our slash on the road is .247 .318 .384

This team just isn't this bad offensively. Mauer is about the only guy holding his own. Aoki and Hunter are in the 260's which is at least not total suckage, but everyone else is below .250. Ugly. :(

Come on guys, just hit a little bit and we'll go all the way.
