1 bsolheim
2 Valen
3 216 Stitches
4 dharmabums
5 morpheus
6 rburgh

This sounds wacky enough to be really amusing. I want to be one of the guys in the central and west so I can figure out what I'm going to do.

Great news another person I am familar with is joining in. Welcome aboard rburgh.
I will definitely be able to be east and central as I have both teams ready. Difficult thing if this drags out too long will be sticking to my plan. I have been wishy washy on my teams in the past and grow more so with every team. I start out with one plan and change it every day I do not actually submit it.

I see we have 6 commitments. Looking forward to this league more than any league I can remember. And we have morpheus, one of the Doctor's old nemesis. Or is that from another source? If it is the villian from Doctor Who I will have to change the name of at least one of my teams to reflect the Doctor as an adversary.

Just threw my second team in to the central. Moved my 25 pick to 23. Just had to tweak something you know.

Now we just need one of the other 3 people who joined the east to jump in to fill the central and we can get this thing started.

but given the strategy driven scenarios
and the limited number of managers, more great players will fall through the cracks.

I was thinking you would be right. But very few cards which I find interesting fell through.

It seemed odd to me that people would expect a lot of quality players to fall through the cracks, since except for careless errors, we knew that there were going to be six pairs of draft cards with no duplication. With 50 draft slots totaling $400 million on two draft cards, it was pretty easy for me to stack both cards with high value players. I ended up getting Ruth, Mays, Mantle, Williams, Simmons, Bagwell, Pujols, Collins, A-Rod, Beckwith, and Frank Robby, along with Murray, Lee Smith, Dibble, Mossi, Newhouser, and 4 of the top 24 salaried starters.

Just a little helpful EG of how one of your teams can help the other. My A team is 6-0 against my B team with 88 RS to 16 RA. However my B team is playing .500 ball otherwise. It is a lot more work tinkering with the line up every game to ensure the B team helps the A team out.

First week is over. I have to say this whole thing went about as smoothly as any theme league I have ever been involved in. Props to the managers who joined and made this possible. Has been interesting and fun.

A little pricy since it takes a pair of credits but had more fun so far than with any team I have launched so far. It was really crazy during preseason as you negotiated trades with guys knowing you had some 50+ players to offer and 50+ to request from. Just keeping it all straight in my head left me a little dizzy.

I am wondering how well this concept would work at 140 mil or even lower caps.
