Yes.
Strat has set up 4 groupings for a Franchise: db, pre, post, and exp.
We are playing with the post AND exp, which collectively make up the POST WAR SET that you can select when you create your team.
So, there is a post grouping for each Franchise, but there is also a POST WAR SET, incorporating post AND exp.
If you have created your Yankees team using the POST WAR SET, then you can utilize both the post Yankees and the exp Yankees to select from.
