So the 60 million, 24 team format would be better then?

If I get more than a couple of people suggesting this then I will definitely get a league formed and fired up. I really like to see more players and stats that are more in line with what they actually were during the actual season.

I also like $60 million cap for a 24 team league. I calculated that a real life team average payroll in strat salaries is about $70 million - but at $60 million there's enough free agents that you aren't completely hog-tied by a bad draft. $60 million is good.

Okay guys, I will set up a 60 mil league, 24 team league in a day or two. Clearly, no one has to commit; I just appreciate the advice and hope that some will decide to join.

Thanks! :)

I may put in a team---though 60M maybe best what about an 80M-no dh league (or 60 no-dh)
that would leave a few more offensive players available.

I'm working this weekend and hope to go over a lineup on Monday and/ or Tuesday so the league may appear on one of those days or Wednesday.

Does a no DH league appeal to more players out there? :?:

My guess is most want a DH league---though I like the no-DH--I'll probably give it a go either way as I have never played a 24 team league and am curious.

I'd be fine with a dh league, but I think a no dh league would leave out more offensive options for the 24 teams.

A couple of more entries by the end of the day would kick start some interest in this league so let's get it going guys!

24 teams = more realistic statistics!

LET'S GO! :!:

Steve expressed it well.

I've played in $100 mil 20XX 12-team leagues, and you get the same thing as $80 mil 24 team leagues: a bushel of money chasing craap.

If you are interested, I have a 60 mil/ 24 team/ no dh league setup waiting for participants.

Thanks for the input!
