Lance Johnson's son played two seasons on the same high school baseball team as my son. Every game I took along a baseball and baseball card for him to sign. I never got his autograph, he never saw his son play. Lance was living back east and his son was living in California with an aunt and uncle. The son was so fast that he would take a huge lead off of first base, the pitcher would throw over and he would be safe at second before the first baseman could throw it to the shortstop covering.
The son was not a prospect and never played beyond high school.
