Home/Away lineups PLEASE!

PostSun Sep 15, 2013 3:58 am

I m in a division with 3 hitting parks, while I am in a fairly extreme pitcher park. In fact, most of the stadiums in the league, are either hitting, or, balanced towards lefty power. There is only one other pitcher park in the entire league.

I would love to have, even just the straight L/R lineups, for home/away series.

I have succumbed to the fact, HAL will do as he wishes due to injuries. However, how hard could it be to do a lineup setting for home away series'?

This would be EXTREMELY helpful when it comes to DH leagues

How many managers actually use the reverse pitcher lineups anyway?

I wanted to do teams in the past with home/away lineups, and running 6-12 teams at a time as I do, the time it takes makes it damn near impossible. With my current team, that made me bring this up... I have no choice but to do home away lineups. I have Aoki as my Dh for home, but am sorely lacking in power, so going with Chris Davis as my DH for the away games.

Can I please get some backing on this? I mean, if they can write in a reverse lineup into the program, it hasta be easier to do a basic lineup.

While this is a fine suggestion, what if we expanded it? What if they added three (or more?) optional additional temporary lineups with check boxes for different options:

home
away
left
right
first game
second game
third game
(more?)

Your first two regular lineups would be left default and right default. You could select multiple check boxes to get what you want for your temporary lineups. For example, if you had an injury and wanted to change your lineup for the first two games, you could set one temporary lineup or two for these games--one for both left and right. If you want to use your temporary slots for home and away, you can do that. Mix and match. This would give managers more flexibility and let them keep their default lineups intact. Of course, if none of the temporary lineups meet the checkbox criteria for a given game, the default lineups would be used.

I didn't include reverse lineups since I play mystery games. I'm not quite sure how they would fit in.

Agree, at the minimum, home and away lineups would be a big help. I think this is more important that the recently added option of of editing the lineup depending on whether you are facing a RHP better vs L or R. The pitcher at be changed at 9:59 pm, but the away park cannot. I play a lot in the 70's where the away option would save me a lot of time.

I'd rather see per game lineups. This would help more with covering injuries that only carry for part of the upcoming set. HAL makes some strange lineup choices left to it's own devices

Unless you are playing 200m leagues, you don't have the extra roster room for these "specialized" lineup suggestions.
