Yep. At least provide a link to one's own team and league for the sake of effect. I've unfortunately built a team in 140mil that couldn't hit s.hit, and I spent 90mil on hitting alone.

This game is a process, that doesn't mean you'll end up liking it, but to judge it without going through the process is intellectually dishonest.

My point, exactly.

You give your opinion on not knowing very much about the game. There's quite a few of us who have played here for along time and feel the game is good.Plus there's no need for that language just because you don't like what someone says.Ther's no one here that has the number of teams that I have, and we have a good group of guys playing here.If you don't like the game nobody's forcing you to play.

Trolls shouldn't play ATG.

Then I guess we shouldn't care if Babe Ruth hit .188 and Ernie Andres hit 77 Home Runs playing for the same team.

I have no idea what this means. Andres 1946 cannot hit homeruns. The cards reflect statistical accuracy if everything is exactly like it was.

Sure he can if he faces a Catfish Hunter card with homeruns all over the place and the roll is on the Pitchers card....

LOL, never even looked at it that way. Not to mention that guy from 1896 facing 9 guys in a row that hit 55 HRs in one year.

Talk about your Back To The Future moment. Can you imagine grabbing some poor guy from the glory years of deadball when a guy with the nickname Home Run Baker reaches a dozen only once in his career and transporting him to present day where he might face entire lineups of guys capable of that. And about the time he gets his head wrapped around that you transport him to a fantasy land where every guy in the lineup is either a 40 HR hitter or a .400 hitter?

Better hire a few sports psychologists because that guy is going to need some therapy.

Seriously though if the top hitters in your leagues are sitting at 90 HRs then you probably were unlucky enough to get in a league with a lot of hitter friendly parks. And yes if that is the case offensive numbers will rule. And most people do like offense so you will see a lot of those leagues.

But if you don't like that then come up with some restraints and post here starting a theme league.
Maybe you make a rule that says no parks with HR ratings higher than 9 or whatever.

Well, with a name like mikesuds, I guess we have to be prepared to be called "shitheads" if we aren't impressed with his strikingly erudite exposition of his dislike of the game.

Sounds like beer muscles fueled by a pickled brain.

You don't like the game? Great, don't play it. Stick to Grand Theft Auto.
