Whoa. I worked the graveyard shift for 19 years. Felt strange to be going into a bar at 8 in the morning. At least we had the place to ourselves.

This isn't normal for BigA. Last draft he had proxies for every pick after the 3rd round until the very end.

This league has never been efficient i.e., fast

I'm fine with the above statement. I enjoy the days of when owners debated the strat nomoralization feature. Of course, when we debated Joe's ratings or QSilvers' left hand parks we added to the fabric of the game

Frankly, it sounds like we're okay with the delays but love to complain about them. So, if we're okay with a slow draft live and let live

So we get to critique the draft now? :D

Interesting the GB, DJ & Zim have mixed *SP and non *SP

All three have acknowledged their initial draft stratgey didn't payoff. Let us get the party started. :)

Joe's selection of Rodney shows he bailed on drafting frontline SP*. Paying against Joe/Wineman since 2001, I'm surprised they went for a high priced reliever. I figured Joe for James Shield or Trevor Cahill that round. :D

I'm not looking forward to going to Coors. Corky has put together a juggernaut.

Not quite of this length BigA did have a T.L. expire a few days ago and (like now) we waited when it stopped on his next pick. He didn't come on here, however, and say anything so we don't know the situation. If real life got in the way why wouldn't he take a minute to let us know. Not complaining just talking aloud.

Wow, lots of ground to cover since I went to bed last night.

- I agree with Corky, Big A has been in the league a long time and hasn't been a problem like this. Something must be going on with his computer/life. My *only* complaint is that he hasn't let us know what's up. Just communicate guys. That said, I'm sure he will turn up soon. Frustrating to be sure.

- Corky, there is actually a player, recently, that we did sort of ask not to come back. But, yeah, we're pretty nice guys and there's something to be said for that.

- I'm all for talking about the teams and what the have already drafted and maybe conjecturing about their parks. The only NLD rule is that you don't drop names of players that haven't been drafted yet. It's bad form.

- I have the utmost respect for you guys who draft their teams via proxy. I think that is very hard to do.

Ok, some thoughts on the teams:
The East looks to be a Lefty division. Jeep finally took a RHB. Semper and Hawk also look loaded with LHB.

Zim, you're right about Corky, that team's going to hit some HRs. it will be interesting to see what kind of staff he puts together.

Interesting to see the mixed * staffs. Not sure what to make of that. GB took Gio and Beach back-to-back so must have been his plan.

Semper, we've used high priced RPs before, especially in the "super RP" days. This year, In an LD, it's proven to be hard to put together a top-notch * rotation I think.

More to follow, got to get back to work.
