In the ATG format, you're likely to get more bad matchups than good ones. Why wouldn't you just add a sub-$1M 5th starter?

Funny, I thought you meant the draft speed moved up a gear on the old electrical wheelchair

Funny II, I'm still curious how Rodney found his way on to your team. Heck, it goes against my scouting of your prior teams. Next you're going to grab a designated-base-stealer in the image of Herb “Hurricane” Washington. :P

joethejet wrote:The only NLD rule is that you don't drop names of players that haven't been drafted yet. It's bad form

Funny III, NLD is now becoming a Fight Club. Sadly, I sense it's my teams that seem to take a beaten.

Ok, some thoughts on the teams:

I'd grab a few righties but then the lefties might get concerned I'm changing strategy in mid-draft. :o

Me too.

Jeep, I totally agree with you. It just doesn't take that long to stop in and say "my life sucks right now" or whatever. I don't like it. As I said earlier, I think it's common courtesy to check in and say something when things aren't happening as expected in an LD.

Semper, you just have a short memory. We used to draft expensive RPs.

Okay - not in the last two years in the $80M format :D

With Rodney dueling against ArrylT's Kimbrel often, I won't be surprised if your division corners the RP market.

My proxy list contains two names and that should last me through the weekend.

I am having issues with the site. I thought I had proxies but nothing fired. I then try to draft manually and it won't let me. The "Draft" button" is not lit up even though the site states it is my turn to pick. I hit "Skip Pick" for now and will try and go back to pick.

I can not set proxies either. Same issue as when I try to draft. I would rather not be skipped twice, but I do not have a problem with waiting and seeing if it resolves itself. I have logged in and out a few times without a positive result. Could I have done something to have caused this problem?
