Which POTUS called the Royals locker room after a WS win and congratulated "Jim Quisenberry" on national TV? I remember George Brett burst out laughing when he heard it.

The Royals only WS title was in 1985, courtesy of a blown call by umpire Don Denkinger in Game 6. Thus, the POTUS in 1985 was Ronald Reagan. In fact, the Royals have not been in the postseason since that time (Much to Paul Wootten's chagrin).
