Post your choice for your draft slot after your name, along with the email address you want to use to login to the Google doc.

I will share the doc with you, with editing privileges, and Google will send you an email, confirming that. You can then make the pick(s) available to you at that point.

There will be no clock for the first 12 picks in each of the drafts. After that, there will be a 2-hour clock, 7 days per week, 10AM - 10PM Eastern.

JF argues persuasively that the "K" slot sucks, as originally proposed. He suggests that the unleashed players should be placed there, in order to make that draft position one of equal value to others -- and I tend to agree...

jflatour99 wrote:Before everyone pick his draft slot, I have a solution for the K spot:

The 1st round of the K would be held in the same time of the 10 other spots.

It would be the players of the unleashed set. So, for example Kozma or B.Anderson couldn't be picked anywhere be at the K spot .

There are 15 of em in total:

Cardenas, Adrian
Corporan, Carlos
Falu, Irving
Garcia, Avisail
Kozma, Pete
Luna, Hector
Orr, Pete
Paul, Xavier
Reimold, Nolan
Sappelt, Dave
Snyder, Brandon

Anderson, Brett
Johnson, Steve
Lilly, Ted
Luebke, Cory

He also adds that

jflatour99 wrote:After that 1st round, we would pause that WILD until the other 10 drafts end.

Unless there are objections, I will adjust the draft lists accordingly.

So, the other rounds of the wild spot would be, as planned originally, the place for the undrafted players.

It should balance things a bit more. I suppose I will not necessarily get that K spot now that It is more appealing but at least, everyone should have something descent as their first pick overall.

Since DrPublix talked about this major flaw, I was trying to find a solution. But this morning when I saw my rank, the necessity forced me to be creative without changing all the concept...

Dr.Publix wrote:Thanks Terry for answering my questions. Very helpful as usual. I'd suggest maybe $80 million for the minors and 60 for the instructional (partially so there'll be enough room for the drop penalties if we want to promote/demote guys.). Also, if there's a limit on individual salaries for each league, I'd say 4.5 or so for the minors and 3 for the instructional. (Looking at 1B for example, I can see a scenario where someone could have Fielder, Ike Davis and Carlos Pena as their top 3 1B. I think it makes sense to at least have the option of having them be your 3 starters.). Just my two cents.

Anyway, looks like Tom Pierce gets first crack it. Looking forward to it

And speaking of Dr. P, I think the limits he mentions in this post make sense, too.

This is a brand new concept and we're making up this sh*t at we go. Let's make it a solid annual event!
