For those that don't know, or, weren't around for the beginning of this game, Cubit and I are of the original core of players. Him and I have been in leagues together for what, 12 years I think?

Way back when, TSN even held a live draft, at their office with us regulars (at the time). Wish I remembered all that was there. The only ones I do remember (I think) were Jeepdriver, and Pacoboy (who is still playing).

Life had me away from the game for 7 or 8 years I guess. When I left the game, I had Valen run the rest of my teams for me that year. Its nice to see he is still around too.

Just noticed that QK is in the league too! Waaayyyy back when, on the original boards, QK was the only board regular who had an earlier start date than me.

Those were the days, when you would start a new team, be the first in the league, and see the next 3 in the league (and in your division) being QK, Penngray, and Jeep... you de be saying to yourself, shit, there goes 25 bucks....

Yup, I've been around since then too.

I've played the board game since 1977 and started playing the online game in 2005. Been in a league with Cubit since 2009. Been lovin' it ever since.

I've been playing since the 2001 TSN season. I remember waiting for the midnight FA scrambles and how ecstatic I was to get Cliff Floyd one time after someone had just dropped him.

As for this draft, I hope Gomez gets a SP rating for the online game. He was actually my second choice after Donaldson, so I'm happy to get him.

Yup, I've been around since then too.

There are fewer and fewer of us originals around anymore. I was lucky enough to "stumble " onto the online game shortly after it was introduced and havent stopped playing yet. I used to play with my brother and a friend of mine for years until we all went our separate ways back in the mid 90's so I was very happy to find it available and I actually made the playoffs with my 1st 2001 team

Great to see you back! Indeed, I was at one of the early live-drafts here in NYC with Penngray, Jeepdriver et al at an office in Chelsea. Fun, too!

I wonder why a cellar dweller like me in many leagues hangs in there…. For the companionship?
