The Crl+X and Ctrl+V usually work just fine in most browsers. Using Google Chrome is even better, though, since you can cut and paste via the edit menu with that browser.

Here's the "help" info from Google:

Copy and paste
Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides let you copy and paste text and images between all of your documents, spreadsheets, and presentations — even if you're going from one type of file to another. And if you copy an image from a desktop application on your computer, you can paste it right into your document, spreadsheet, or presentation. You can use keyboard shortcuts, the right-click menu, or the web clipboard menu to copy and paste in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

Keyboard shortcuts

The right-click menu
When working in Chrome, you can use the right-click menu to copy and paste content (or select "Copy" or "Paste" from the Edit menu in the toolbar). To install the app, visit the Chrome Web Store.

The web clipboard tool
There are a few cases in which the best way to copy and paste is using the web clipboard tool. With the web clipboard tool, you can copy more than one selection and then choose which one to paste later; it also lets you copy something on one computer and then paste it on another.

Select what you'd like to copy.
Click the Edit menu and select Web clipboard.

Click Copy selection to web clipboard.
In the destination file, click the Edit menu and select Web clipboard again; you'll see the selection that you previously copied. If you copied multiple things, you'll see a list of the items you've recently copied.
Place the cursor where you want to paste the content.
Select Web clipboard from the Edit menu.
Select what you want to paste. Depending on your selection, you'll see different formats that you can choose from to paste what you've copied (for example, HTML or plain text).
Select a format.

I show the spreadsheet as "View Only," so I can only Copy and do that to another document.

Try refreshing your browser (or clearing the cache, if necessary). The doc is shared with you for editing at nest@wildblue.net

Surprisingly, wheeler-dealers like JF and the champ have not yet asked about whether trades are allowed.

I think the short answer should be "yes."

Given the nature of the drafts, though, and the need to balance positions across 3 different teams for each manager, I believe that any trades should always be position-for-position or pick-for-pick.

For example, let's say that manager X wants to focus on starting rotation and manager Y wants to focus on fielding up the middle. In that case, a reasonable trade might be SP#1 and 2B#3 in exchange for 2B#1 and SP#7 (or something like that)

That way, each manager gets to strengthen what's important to him, while still balancing the players drafted for each position.

Also, just to keep the total rosters at the predefined 78 or 79 max, let's have each trade be one-for-one; i.e., no unequal trades this time around, okay?

One more comment about cut-and-paste: It's not actually needed!

If your browser refuses to support cut-and-paste in a Google doc, then type the name of your selection into column N and just blank out the player's name in column A.

That's so 20th century a solution, I know, but it still works!
