Games Not Running?

Not one of 23 teams has run. Another epic fail in the making by our Glen Head heroes?

Another little emblematic feature of our new and improved hosts, is having to log into the discussion boards periodically, even when logged into the site. This drove me crazy last year, given that the site insists on fairly complex passwords, until I hit on one I could actually remember. At any rate, once you do log into the boards, you get a message that the forum you are seeking does not exist.

I think most of us have become inured to the pathetic customer service from this organization. And it never seems to change. Gotta love blog boy's weekly posts about -- well, nothing worth reading. And, or course, in the spirit of fostering transparency, dialogue and customer relations, the blog is locked and emails such as the one sent by Dr. Freeze last week, are just ignored. It's now just a week or so shy of 21 months and still no live draft, not to mention manager ratings, not to mention the promised monthly additional cards. So let's trot out another sale so we can generate some holiday sales revenue and maybe even toss us another ATG iteration, with another 200 players. And we would even be lucky to get tossed that rotting bone.

Its pretty apparent from the top down that they want the game to improve and the community to grow like most of us *want* to lose weight.

The game is not high on any of their lists, and status quo is fine with them.

Every successful online product I know of constantly works to improve its product and delivery system- that's how they remain in business.
That goes from APPS to things that were previously brick and mortar sold goods.

We don't even get the courtesy of a "reach around"

But on the positive front, the bulletin still reads that you can still get a 6-pack for $79 -

At tonights rate of game play, that could last you a really long time........

just another in the long list of reasons why i am "retired" from playing strat. yeah, i may still check the boards if i am drunk and bored, but that is only for my personal entertainment.
