Category Theme League DRAFT-bcp7 is up for 2!

Ironically, I was all set to draft Appling in the OBP round when mrharryc took him in the pick immediately before me.

He does have Appling.

My guess is he probably thinks it's a DH league.

I don't think I mentioned this before, but obviously you MUST include all of your live drafted picks on the bottom of your draft card. You MUST at all times, have a player that meet the criteria for each category. ie. If you drop an OBP category player, he must be replaced with a .450 or > OBP player.

Trades are encouraged, but again make sure your categories are filled.

I don't want to compound the delay, but I'm going to be without internet access until after 8 p.m. PDT. I've sent proxies for Round 11 to xuandemckey via p.m., but will have to see what happens in Round 12 before I pick.

I need a catcher, but the ones I wanted were grabbed. May I pick up a catcher in the autodraft to replace a player in a different category or must I choose a catcher in the last round and replace him in waivers?

I would be surprised if everyone had a perfect draft. The good thing is
Good players will overlap a few categories so there is room for error.

1 carr20 - Johnny Pesky 6.12 You need to re-pick. You have Luke Appling already who is SS only. Pesky is also SS only. We can only draft one player at a given position.

BCP7 I am not sure on the ruling - I would ask Visick (I had asked a similar question about another position).

in any case, Harry has Appling (not carr20), carr20 does have Arky Vaughn.

If I understand correctly, we need to have starters from every position before play begins (not necessarily before the draft is done).
