There is no "thread". You have to open multiple emails and then no one knows which one you're replying to.

Each thread is in the subject heading Joe....not a big deal. I only bring it up because it gets awfully quiet here at times but on the league page it shows when you have new mail.

I know, the draft is slow. But is there anything better than gearing up for a new season of NLD action?

Oh, I suppose there is one thing better...

RED SOX WIN THE WORLD SERIES!!!!

Big M,

I know how you feel after the Giants won last year (and in 2010) It's pretty awesome.

One thing I'm curious about, why are we using email and not the forum?????

Let's move all these convos there! (I'm putting this there also)

Yeah I wouldnt know anything about this since I am a Cubs fan...............48 years and still nothing even remotely close to feeling the euphoria . As we say wait til next year,or the year after,or the year after that,or the year after that................  . Oh well at least I have the Blackhawks :)

In the 90s through 2007, I owned Cleveland Indian season tickets and enjoyed watching the movie "Major League" played out every season.

For the last three year, I've owned Cub season tickets along the first base line and, I'm frustrated already

The last two Giants WS aside, I can relate. After they lost in 2002, I told my (then) young kids to not be Giants fans because "they will only break your hearts"! Don't lose faith guys.....

Other than Hawk's team, the remaining East Division teams sunk similar investments amounts in their pitching staff.

Also, we cornered the market on LHPs How long will we see a balanced pitching staff investment strategy?

DJ,

If you keep that lineup in tact, you've a nice set of stones by my count. ;)

Surprised to see Hawk take Shields with all those LH teams and LH parks.

While knocking out administrative work tasks on Sunday, I had fun evaluating the free agents without any competition removing Chipper Jones from the pile. I debated too much whether Chipper's OB beats a Lahair & Viciedo DH platoon

With the number of divisional LHPs, I went with Melky Cabrera. Time will tell if Melky's RHP "W" works in Busch Stadium but I'm hedging that Curtis Granderson and Josh Reddick's swing works fine.

Joe - I was surprised you didn't grab Wilton Lopez earlier. I nearly tossed you an offer for a mega trade but your team appears set today.

I can't wait until Monday evening (thanks to the daylight savings time change) when a few teams look at their rosters and say "change is good". Plus, I could use a nice leadoff hitter with speed ;)

Hey Semp,

Always willing to look at a trade. I'm not *that* ecstatic about this team to be honest.
