can we please change the clock to an hour?

I ll say what everyone is thinking...

This is getting silly. At this pace, we ll be drafting for 10 more days.

If you don't care bout the 50 cent players, just put auto by your name. If you sorta care, like need a certain position or something, maybe put auto followed by position (auto2b) then maybe we can slot in the first 2bman in alphabetical order to that person so we can keep this moving.

I m really excited to see how this plays out, and am trying to draft these teams so I am competitive in all three leagues. Not just the majors and minors.

some folks have 2+ pretty good and $$ at the same position.
It makes more sense to play one in minors and others in majors rather than have one sitting on bench.

I agree with ghost. I think something like $53 mil would work. Terry's team will have about $20 mil more in salary than the lowest salaried team - therefore losing some of the "fun" of constructing a minor team with some players to promote in case of injury.

My teams will have ~$184 mil salary - which is a bit tight for promotions from minors and instructional leagues.

Because I started drafting at the pitchers' end of the draft table, my team salaries will be a bit lower than spider's -- probably $175 mil or so. There are fewer high-priced pitchers than high-priced batters, but that's okay. I believe the aspects other than salary can make up for a bit of that.

As to the three levels, I'd really like to see us have realistic competition in all three leagues. If going to $53 mil in the Minors is needed, then okay. I would be reluctant to go much higher than that, though, since that would allow managers to "game" the system a bit and not have solid competition.

Exactly. There's not a lot of excitement in drafting among pitchers over 4.00 in era and 1.50 in whip. So, let's go quicky.
When a person who doesn't show for days get a clock freezing over 22h00, when wait until noon the other day. A 14 hours lost of time. Please, proxy or state ''auto'' !

I agree with the concerns about waiting too long, especially here at the shallow end of the talent pool.

Let's go to a one-hour clock Tuesday morning at 10AM Eastern

woohoo... we re moving now!

Oh, wait, no we re not...

Is a roll call needed to make sure everyone is still on board with this theme? We re so far into this that it would be terrible to lose someone at this point.

wilmurr has a tendency to wander off -- he'll be back.

Others are actively involved, even if not on a timely basis.

Besides, finding folks to manage teams is not usually an issue; finding those who are crazy enough to draft 900 players is something else again, but we're almost done with that!

I think this bunch has been amazing in sticking with the draft. This has move much quicker than many keeper drafts I have been in. Nice work tc and everyone. Willmur drifted off from time to time in C'est La Vie and is kicking our butts.
