Question of the day

PostSat Nov 09, 2013 11:22 am

Outfielder Bob Thurman has a defensive rating of 5 in RF and LF.
In game 139, my CF Charleston went down for 3 games.
In game 141, my back up CF got hurt and good old Bob was put in CF.
What was his rating?
Obviously it was really bad, because after the 7th inning, Hal moved Arky from SS to CF.
So I would guess that a SS with a 2 rating is better in CF than a LF with a 5 rating.

Both should be 5's - there is no worse rating. Arky would have been a 5 (+4) e25, which is gruesome. Thurman was a 5 (+1) e5, so he would clearly have been the better CF, although still borderline gruesome.
