I can't believe that I am being repeatedly forced to read about a gambling dice game on this baseball on-line only forum!

Moose could you look into the person who wrote this please? I was promised a fun experience for all- this is not fun or funny.

-it is incredibly unfair that I should have to read this when there are children present-
WONT anyone PLEASE think about the CHILDREN?????? well, thank god its not about football at least

Can we get some links to these teams/leagues so that the "great unwashed masses" may learn at the feet of Masters? Or do we just have to play some 200M cap leagues and experiment?

I like Outta Leftfield's idea. I too would like to join a 200 mil to get whooped but your league already filled. Bring on another league guys, and I hope you'll join a halfway filled 60 mil 24 team league. Beyond 200 mil being a potential crapshoot (or something I'd get whooped in), I've yet to be interested enough in it to play as Having Pudge Rodriguez's MVP year bat 9th is only so appealing. Theres already enough of that in normal strat. I think of it as Nascar Strat

More importantly though, Druid, easy with the bashing. Whatever you're grievances with Moose may be, you're way out of line. Now I'm not calling for censorship here but instead just being nice. Now I don't know everyone of affluence on a first name basis here on this boards but I do know I used to look up to you for being 1. a great manager 2. funny 3. whatever ever compliments you'd like to hear. NOT for being a bully to someone who promotes the game here.

Strat-O-Sphere 2015: Streamlining of all of Strat's games under a central website with interchangable currency, ATG, booster packs, smaller stand-alone sets, achievements, mystery card sets, and Netplay which can both be played for seasons and for head-to-head pick up games with your unlocked/purchased players.

But yeah, new prices would be nice

Yes, good times were had by all during ATGIIIv2...I could write a book if I hadn't repressed the memories.

Current salaries can be a baseline, but I would still advocate a strict usage-based model if players were regularly repriced every few months.

First of all, I agree with nels about the value of civility.

Rosters removed per Nev's request...

When I was in grade school I used to intervene when I saw bullying; got into a lot of fights that way, mostly with older kids. I saw myself protecting those weaker than myself. I suspect the bullies had a different perspective. Moose is nothing but a bully IMHO, and he has repeatedly demonstrated this in every Barnstormer's season that I participated in. He certainly gives a lot of his time to the Barnstormer's but I very much doubt he does so out of altruism. I suspect he gets off on the power and control it affords him. So in this case, I have no problem treating him with the utter disrespect that he has routinely evinced toward others and so richly deserves with his heavy handed approach to manager relations. I do apologize to anyone, like Nels52, whose sensibilities this may offend, but I have always been blunt and outspoken here, so my tirade against Moose should not come as a surprise to anyone who has read these boards for a few years.

200mil a crap shoot, I don't think so.

One aspect of a draft that is so often not mentioned, is who are the other managers in your league? If you get 5-7 good/experienced 200mil managers in a 12 team league you are going to have to work in post draft FA b/c you're not getting the otherwise easy grab you would with a lesser pool of managers. Get more than that and it becomes extremely competitive.

....the other thing to take note of, is that there is nothing wrong with being one of the managers that doesn't get mentioned when taking about good draft strategies, b/c that means you can stay under the radar.
