lovin the 60's

so far i've had 16 teams and won 17 credits. never imagined doing that especially with a new game. can you hear the beatles? do you want to know a secret, doo, da, doo, let me whisper in your ear.....

That is a lot of teams. How many do you usually play at once? I think I could only handle two or three teams at one time. You have done quite well, congratulations. Is the 60s player pool roughly the same size as the 70s, 80s, and 90s?

The player pool is about the same as the 80s which is smaller than the 70s and 90s. However with the higher salaries than the 80s it plays bigger.

Finished with 93 wins & best record. Won semis 4 games to 1. Fell in finals in 6 games to "Joe Z" & his Whitehall Cozy Cats.

Why are new leagues taking so long to fill, is it MLB's off season (NOV-DEC) I suspect?

Looking to recruit some new blood for a $100M NO DH lg. Look for "Joe Z" as commish. Public league!

All 3 PRIVATE 60s leagues are $80M. Do I hear $100M?

Don't see any threads touting PRIVATE leagues; used to do a lot of em. Appreciate any feedback, input.

100M leagues take longer to fill. I joined a regular 80M league last week and it filled within 24 HR. 100M mystery card leagues are nothing but churning and burning through the free agent pool as fast as you can. That is not much fun to me.

LM Bombers: appreciate the feedback. I understand your point about "churning and burning" thru Free Agents in $100M lgs. But I feel with so many super star$ in 60's set $100M is a better fit for me. $80 mill allows for too few $tar$. IMHO.
