Sutter injured for 10?

PostSat Nov 16, 2013 11:00 am

How does Bruce Sutter get injured for 10 games on a 6-12 roll (result is a K) against Sam Thompson? It is a DH league.

I believe pitchers can get injured if they are the current pitcher in a dh league....if the dh gets injured when batting, doesn't the pitcher take the injury instead? So if your DH is brittle, then the pitcher takes the injury.......now if the pitcher has 200 innings + then the pitcher is limited to the rest of the game +3 games.... but for ANY pitcher under 200 innings, they take the full injury time.....I believe this is why having iron DHs prevents any and all injuries to pitchers in DH leagues.....of course I could be totally wrong here, since I haven't played the table top game in 25 years.

The DH gets injured off of his card. Pitchers get injured off of a 6-12 roll when the DH is batting.

Brad is correct. Pitchers with over 200 IP can only get injured for a maximum of 3 games.

dj has it right. And the fact that he did get injured for 10 shows that he can get 15 as well.

The fact there is so much surprise/confusion whenever a pitcher gets injured speaks to how rare it is in Strat.
