Don't need a 5 pack to provide help. A few questions first.....

I assume you have Excel installed.

Are you familar with webex and willing to set aside some time the week after Thanksgiving. If so I would need an email address I could send the link and one time session number along with a conference number we could talk on.

I can probably give you a sufficient walk through in an hour or less for you to be able to use it and know it well enough to just ask questions here on specific things.

I probably will not be checking the boards again until after Thanksgiving.

Or if you would prefer not to do a call and webex here is a google search where you can find some tutorials.

Michael - I work in excel all day every day (an exciting life I lead). I can walk you through many of the processes. Send me your questions or a note when you might want to discuss.

All excels are not created equal. My inferior version refuses to save a file from someone's newer version. Make sure you mention what version it is.

If you have an older version of excel, you can only save an excel document which was originally a ".xls" file (i.e., if you're sent a file which is NOT a .xls excel file but in the newer Microsoft proprietary format, you can't save the document - when you open the document it will say on the top of the document "read only"). To fix this problem, have the person sending you the file to save their excel file as a ".xls" file - they can do this by opening their document and selecting "save as" and they would save the file as a ".xls" file type.

I hope this helps.
