Ok, in my second series, I switched to Very Aggressive basestealing. Results: 13 sb 1 cs. Only one attempt to steal third again (successful this time) and still no stealing of home attempts. Both series I was up against a -1 arm catcher and very neutral starting pitchers. I guess I'll just chalk it all up to small sample sizes but plan on leaving my basestealing setting at Very Aggressive. If I make a change I will let you know.

Could someone tell me how to post my team and I will do it if you like.

Here is a successful SB team in progress. It has the best record and best SB% so far. I didn't go all out crazy on the steals and I should approach about 350 stolen bases with the stealing always set to "Agressive" and the guys with a "19" rating on the front end always set to steal more. It you leave it on "Very Agressive" they WILL run crazy, especially if you go with "steal more" and to me if they are a "19" on the front end you want them to steal more. I stole almost 800 bags in the 80's game with those settings. That will get you in the 400-500 SB range but they will go early and often and late and steal third and steal home and steal early and steal often and steal home and steal late and steal..................

although this is an '86 team, still a xx set.

through 126 games i am 75-51, 437 sbs' 146 caught (75%)

sb/cs 361-98 (2) 72-42(3) 4-6(h)

like the other post, embrace the all or nothing.....but this team only works when you have a stellar, and i mean stellar bullpen.

Nice team. Not sure this is an official record or anything, but you are getting pretty close to my SB record of 551 steals for a 100M 1986 team:

I was "very aggressive" every game, and almost every player checked to "steal more". My success ratio was .735. This team won 94 games, so I don't think it hurt me at all.

Almost 1/4 way into the season and surprisingly, the team is stealing a lot (on pace for 509 steals) but not going crazy. We have a 78% success rate and are 12-2 stealing third base and 0-1 stealing home. Its been very nice not being ridiculous stealing third or home so far. Another surprising aspect is how well the team is doing. I am in one of only three pitchers parks in the league and yet I am holding best record in the league but that should change at some point as I am around a .690 winning pct which shouldn't hold up.

A Fascinating team and division--and at the moment (39 games in) everyone in your division is well over .500--What amazes me is not only the running but the team ERA at about 3.6 in a hitters park league, and you do have a few HR hitters as well so you are not totally dependent on SBs--Extra aggressive on stealing, but what do you have your running set at???

--I will be fascinated to see if you can maintain the stats at the current pace--

Thanks for the post of the team---I would like to watch the whole league here--would you post the link to the league standings??

I have basestealing set at very aggressive and baserunning set at aggressive. I think this should work as a link to standings: http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/league/347906

I've been keeping up from time to time---still doing well, but all very good teams in the division--- at 66 games on a pace to steal 437 bases.
