How are the in season player awards compiled?

Case in point, Doumit (4e1) and Pierzynski (3e1) are an odd couple for Golden Gloves at the backstop position.

Stoney, Wow, that's a tough loss. I think I've had some, but not sure any *that* bad.

Semper, not sure about the "awards". You're right about Walker of course, I'm sure he'll cool off some. Playing in Coors does weird things. ;)

Holy crap dice, Kipnis hit his 1st HR in game 72 :o

Everth Cabrera is the last full time starter without a HR (he hit 2 in actual play)

Oh I read your simulation posts - can you place Walker in Busch for a run on his card results? I suspect Coors beer has something over the Budweiser offering.

And, I see you're riding Neil's surprising power streak (shades of 1996 Brady Anderson) by batting his $3.7M card cleanup over $10M Headley  and $8M Encarnacion.

Well he does have the best clutch rating on the team which is nice to have sandwiched between Trout and Headley no? And do you think Encarnacion has a better card vs RHP? Salary can be deceiving. ;)

Hope everyone has a good (American) Thanksgiving!

I see my team is still clinging to first place. :) However with a losing record outside my division that could change soon.

Yes, Happy Thanksgiving to every one! I'm thankful for the NLD and all the chat that goes on here. That's the best part of playing this game if you ask me. If I had one wish is that more of the league participated more often. 8-)

Corky,

So, even by your 10 year standards Walker is high at home and is certainly high on the road. Your stats were playing 100% of the games at home right? (Sorry I didn't see your numbers earlier)

As for Encarnacion v Walker: You're right, they are closer than many would think. Walker has more true hits, Encarn more BB and more BPHR. I have their It will be interesting to see how many clutch hits Walker and Encarn get/lose over the course of the season. in Coors only I have Encarn with a 1104 offense rating (not injury adjusted) and Walker with a 1044. Very close actually.

Have a great day today guys. :D
