Marlon BYRD-RF

Byrd will be 37 at the end of the 2014 season.

In 563 plate appearances last year between the Mets and Pirates, Byrd hit .291 with on OBP of .336. He also hit 35 doubles and 24 HR.

BYRD's numbers against LHP are even more impressive;
AVG- .344
OBP- .376
SLG- .583

BYRD has recently signed with the Phillies.

Michael WACHA-SP.

WACHA will turn 23 during the 2014 season.

In 64.2 IP Wacha had a 1.10 WHIP, struck out 65 batters, and only surrendered 5 homeruns. He worked as both a starter and a RP. He currently pitches for the St.Louis Cardinals.

He looks to be a first round pick in the 2014 FKKL FA DRAFT.

Scooter GENNETT-2B

GENNETT will be 24 for the 2014 season.

In 223 plate appearances last year, Gennett hit .324 with an OBP of .356, with 19 extra base hits.

Gennett's numbers vs RHP are impressive.
AVG .363
OBP .395
SLG .552

Defense- 5 errors fielding pct. .981

Gennett currently plays for the Milwaukee Brewers. Gennett will be a hot commodity and probably a 1st round FA pick.

He's predicted to be a 4 range, so he'll make one side of a DH platoon.

Good to know. Where do I get these range predictions? I'll be able to provide better info when the range ratings come out.

SOMworld.com, but it's a subscription service, not free. They aren't always right, but usually aren't to far off. Their rankings are listed on the RC/RA spread sheet. The one guy I think they are way off on this year is Juan Lagares who they predict will be a 3 in CF. At worst I think he'll be a 2 and it would not surprise me if he gets a 1.
