Just a reminder this is a minimum four season commitment (five for those that make the championship round). I've been in the tournament before and nothing is worse to the entire group than managers that drop out when their first two teams do poorly. If you plan on playing, plan on being in for the entire four seasons.

I'm interested, but am unsure of what the format is.

I'd like to keep it as simple as possible.

$80 million
No DH in the 60's / 70's
DH in the 80's / 90's
Any stadium you want so long as you don't use the same stadium twice.


We're NEVER going to ALL agree on the DH/NO DH.

There's a point system as well and top twelve managers go on to the Finals.

More details on the rules from earlier in the thread... I don't think unique stadiums will be happening.

I'm thinking unique stadiums as well. It should be too hard. A penalty should be issued for using the same stadium.

I was actually thinking of NO DH in the 60's & 70's and using the DH in the 80's & 90's.

How about keeping it really simple...
Each year is $80 million.

So,
Round 1: 60's, NO DH
Round 2: 70's, NO DH
Round 3: 80's, DH
Round 4: 90's, DH

These would be the qualifying events.

Point System / Tiebreakers (From Players Championship)

- 1 point for each regular season win
- 5 points for winning a regular season division title
- 5 points for winning the wild card position
- 5 additional points for making the finals
- 5 additional points for winning a league championship

Tiebreakers
1. Championships won
2. Finals made
3. Playoffs made
4. Regular season total wins
5. No. of events played
6. Pick 3 winner
