"You could follow the approach Geoff did for the Players Championship and create one league at a time and let it fill as people are ready, then create the next league. That way you get full leagues rolling and only deal with fillers on the later leagues. It seemed to work well in the PC tourney."

This was my intention. HOWEVER, it was brought up that there might be a few managers that will avoid other managers like the plague. So to avoid that, we will use a randomizer as well as randomizing divisions.

screw it, its mystery cards, if people are scared of some managers, then dont compete.....there are over 100 managers here in 4 mystery card sets.

even with a damn good draft card, AND hitters hitting great years, still no guarantee on wins.....more weird sht happens in mystery sets than any other that counters a few good managers who are active and draft well

"even with a damn good draft card, AND hitters hitting great years, still no guarantee on wins.....more weird sht happens in mystery sets than any other that counters a few good managers who are active and draft well"

This was my original thinking. But it was brought up, and after I mulled it over, I wanted to keep it as fair as possible.
I thought randomizing everything was the best way to go.

Personally, when I play, I don't avoid ANYBODY. I welcome the challenge.

As far as hard deadlines go, we need to be a bit flexible. There will be some hurdles and obstacles.

Once everything is randomized, I'll post the leagues/divisions. I may assign a manager in the west as the closer of the league. This way we can get the leagues off and running at the same time.

You don't need to randomize the divisions. Just when everyone creates the leagues use the default division randomization fuction -- so all 12 teams can just join in any order and the divisions will be randomized when SOM creates the league.
