Here is a surprise. This should make him a $10 card?
BALTIMORE: 2013 HR Champion Chris "Crush" Davis jumps from a 4 to a 2 fielding rating at 1B

For me less of a surprise and more of a long term pattern by Strat of lowballing guys early in career. Ratings historically have been based as much on reputation as actual performance. Thus unless a player is hyped in the media he is never going to get a fair evaluation his first full year of playing a position. I remember watching Davis when he first came up in Texas and remembered him as an excellent defensive first baseman. I told people then he had potential to develop in to a gold glove first baseman. So the 2 rating this year is not a surprise to me. I would expect him to continue as a 2 and possibly be rated a 1 in future years.

He will be expensive.

A bulletproof steal rating!!!????

I think he will be the first one but look at what he did.
13 games 13 stolen bases!

19 ABs, 14 of which were in 3 games he apparently started. I assume a pinch runner in the other 10.
7 hits of which 2 were doubles so 5 singles. to go with 2 walks.
So 7 chances to steal second added to the 10 pinch running chances for 17 opportunities.

Just thinking about it gets me pumped up and excited about next season. Hopefully he starts as the CFer hitting leadoff.
Anyone camping out in line to make bets on whether he breaks Henderson's single season record next year?

And if he gets a card in the unleashed set.....
With that .368 BA and .429 OBP what would you set his price at and how many people you think will slot him #1 on their draft card? :D

Hate to burst your bubble, but he won't get even an Unleashed card next year. I'm pretty sure no player from the Additional players set has ever had a card in the online game.

they should add him in as a PR runner only, for about 1 mil. No defense (can't play) but with those steal ratings I still might take him.

Top ten most requested on twitter ( so far)

#10.) TORONTO: Jose Reyes gets a 3 at SS in his first season for the Jays
(Bad news for me, I have Reyes on several keeper teams)

#9.) TAMPA BAY: Rookie of the Year Wil Myers receives a 4B3 in CF and a 3B2 in RF.

8) DETROIT: Three different position ratings for José Iglesias. SS: 1, 3B: 2 and 2B: 3.

#7) LOS ANGELES (AL): AL MVP runner-up Mike Trout earns a 1 fielding rating in CF and LF

#6) MILWAUKEE: Jean Segura receives a 2 fielding rating for his play at SS. :D

#5) LOS ANGELES (NL): Rookie phenom Yasiel Puig gets a rating at all three OF... LF: 3, CF: 4B3, RF: 2

#4) OAKLAND: Josh Donaldson gets a 2 at 3B and a 4 at 1B/SS (1 inn. played at each)

3.) CLEVELAND: Jason Kipnis gets a 2 fielding rating at 2B.

#2.) ST. LOUIS: All-Star Matt Carpenter is rated at four positions... a 3 at 2B/3B, 4 at 1B, 5 in RF.

#1.) CINCINNATI: The most requested player was Shin-Soo Choo. Choo gets a 4B3 fielding rating in CF and a 3 in LF

And

At least one Gold Glove winner did NOT receive a 1 fielding rating. Which player(s) do you think it is?

I have 2 guesses:

1st - Adam Jones,
2nd - Nolan Arenado
