All of the leagues are now created.

Not sure how I missed this gem, but if somebody bails I'd like to fill in.

Sorry, I was at work all day, didn't have a chance to create league 8. I'll be on call to close when needed however.

I don't really see the need for a closer. These leagues need to be formed next week before Friday midnight and start the following Monday, or all momentum will be lost. Commish's call but there should be a deadline set for teams to be entered (end of Tues?) before you go to the replacement list. If all 12 owners are ready, the league should be created asap (as long as it is after this Friday midnight) so that waivers, free agents, lineups can be handled asap.

I agree, Tuesday or maybe Wednesday at the latest should be the deadline if we are going to use one. There needs to be time to get a substitute.

The closer can make sure the league has the right managers in case someone got confused or a non-entrant slipped in. I'll probably mess that up.

Also, the alternates don't have to keep checking in . They have a certain day to come back and see where they are needed.

I agree that we should have a clear deadline after which alternates can fill a league. I expect that the commissioner will announce a deadline.
