Are there any settings that can control HAL's deciding to pinch hit for the pitcher?

I've got Bunning set for do not relive until F4 and HAL insists on pinch hitting for him. It's happened twice that I know of when Bunning is at F9. Once the game was tied. The other time I was up by two runs.
