for the 80's and 90's
Why don't you just open a league or two at a time, say on a Friday night after the cutoff, and then everyone could just join a league and fill them, then create a couple more leagues ?
That way we wouldn't have every team waiting and checking back for the one or two people that are slower to join 10 different leagues.
Also it would stop someone from holding up a draft until it was suitable for them.

I don't want to change from using a randomizer at this point.

I agree, keep it random.
Otherwise league 10 will end up being abandoned. Needing five players in 1 league much harder to fill than 1 in several leagues.

Randomizing leagues is the fairest way to do it. I agree that it should stay random.

For what little it's worth, I also agree. Already 2 events loaded, that's 20 leagues, and every league starting (and finishing) at the same time in each event, with only a handful of fillers. Amazing...the standings on the tourney page will actually show where we stand! Thanks, visick!

That really is an awesome accomplishment.

When it comes time to load the 80's a message to load needs to go out in all 10 leagues. That will help move things along.

Visick - I just noticed that the 70's League#7 is set up with a best of 5 semi-final playoff.

I'm assuming that's an oopsie.

Do you want to try to contact strat to see if they can change that to a best of 7 semi-final?

I'm confused.

Isn't every semi that way?

I checked them all and they are all... Postseason Format: 2 rounds: Best-of-5, Best-of-7

Playoffs

For 12-team leagues (standard): At the end of the 162-game regular season, 4 teams advance to the Playoffs, which consists of 2 rounds - a Semi-Finals (best of 7 games except for '70s/'80s leagues which are best of 5) and a Finals (best of 7 games). The 4 teams to advance are the winners of the 3 Divisions, plus the Wild Card team. The Wild Card team is the team that has the best record among teams that did not win their division.
