Tiebreakers for a 2-way tie are, in order:
    - Head-to-head record
    - Run differential
    - Coin flip
Tiebreakers for a 3-way tie are, in order:
    - Best record vs. teams within division
    - Run differential
    - Coin flip

The above is from the Strat-o rules page. And having been involved in many ties over the years, the second level is def overall run diff. 8-)

Well, I'm not sure we've used SOM's tie breakers for determining draft order. I mean, what we're trying to do it determine which team was "better". I'm Ok with using overall run Dif, but I"m pretty sure in the past we've used head-to-head diffs. At least when I've posted the draft orders! ;)

Um, maybe?

Probably depends on who was breaking the ties. I gotta say, it doesn't happen very often! That said, I'm fine in the East.

In real action, looks like Stoney and Hawk both have to win two to advance. AT and Corky have the advantages so far.

For what it's worth I've never seen a 'head to head' run differential be used in any sort of tiebreaker....in any sport. I have seen overall run or point differential used many times.

Congrats to AT on a hard fought series. Lost game 7 when the tying run gets thrown out at home.

Rolls even out throughout the course of a season so this is just a one game oddity but when I was at the plate this game there were 13 rolls on the hitters cards and 18 on the AT's pitchers. When he was batting there were 25 rolls on the hitters cards and 12 on my pitchers. Hard to win a game like that.

Stones, you faced an up-hill battle to be sure. To miss going extras 1-12 is very tough. I feel for you man. That stinks. Barney's 1-13 single to score a 5th run in the first didnt' help either.

Also, Infante missed a 1-5 granny. No guarantee to be sure but, a 25% chance that you would have, most likely, advanced...... Ouch.

Corky held home field through two. Can AT get back in it at his place?????

NLD is represented well in the Players Championship 2013. After a 5 round season the top 36 are going to the semi-final round. Representing NLD are,

Gbrookes - 5th seed
Stoney18 - 12th seed
DurantJerry - 29th seed

Jeepdriver - just missed the playoffs with the 39th seed.

Yep- we have a really good group of managers in this NLD! There is this crazy thing called luck, which interferes every now and again, but we represented this group well in the tourney! Thanks for the post Stoney!

Speaking of this - Jeep - we may need your services as an alternate. A couple of managers appear to be about to forfeit by not checking in and making their ballpark pick, and if the other top 3 alternates don't respond quickly, I'll tap you on the shoulder.

Jeep please post here, PM me, or post on the boards (200x and/or PC thread) to confirm if you are available as an alternate!

Thanks!
