Reimold and Kozma

PostMon Jan 06, 2014 7:39 pm

Playing unleashed for the first time. Both seem to have impressive cards and since i'm playing unleashed I figured I should have a couple of them on my team. What kind of numbers have they put up? Looking at my team I have 1 extra OF/DH type and need to cut to fill other positions. If I keep the both of them its down to Choo or Jones. Leaning towards cutting Choo or trying to trade him. I know Jones will get offers for trades.

I had both of them. No complaints.

500 AB out of Reimold? The 6 injury is a concern.

I decided to drop Choo to upgrade 2b(Utley), although injury prone and Alvarez(from Sandoval). Although I'm afraid that my park might be too neutral for Alavarez. Now I have an extra 2+ mil to work with. I was thinking of Phillips at 2b, but he always seems to be available and I haven't seen much about him on the boards.

The injury factor is why Reimold is relatively cheap.

I used Kozma AND Falu in a theme league. I had the $ to pull them late in games though...

I can't complain :D

Kozma did a great job for me, at OPS .948 in 633 AB

Had Kozma, Falu, Orr, and Corporan(who I didn't use much) = 82-80, 5 games out of playoffs :(

Thanks all. Have started off 2-7, not good, but too early too panic. It looks like my inability to put together a decent pitching staff is hurting.

In case anyone is interested...

After a first half record of 33-48 and dead last in the division and bottom of the league, my team rebounded to win the division. I hope the playoffs go well.

Managed 450 ABs from Reimold and Kozma and Falu lived up to their billing. The pitchers, Lilly and Luebke were awful, so I dumped them about the time of my turnaround. I ended up trading Snider near the end of the season as he never came around. First time I've seen him do that poorly. I used him as part of the deal to get Darvish.
