NL/AL Combo League

SInce I'm going to start the league off once the draft is complete, I would be in the East; so how about this?

To see if I understand, East teams would autodraft first, once complete the Central, then West.

We are in agreement if NL tram receives AL player, we drop that player. Does this apply to NeL players other than who we drafted. Foe example if I receive Satchell Paige and he was not part of the 25 I selected, would I drop him? Was Baltimore NL in 1894 or some other league? Ever the nitpicker am I.

I would have to say I dont think we can control the auto draft except for where are teams are in each division. I say if you get Satchel and he wasn't drafted by anyone then he is yours. If for some reason you get Mantle and I drafted him then yes, you drop him. Same for NL players on a AL team.
Also, I'm not sure but didn't the Baltimore team become the NY Highlanders who then became the Yankees. SO I would say they were AL

The autodraft won't give you a player on someone elses card unless you also have him on your card.

It may happen 2-3 times is my guess, based on other drafts of this type. Its because a manager didn't memorize every pick and thought someone was available. Not a big deal, really.

The team that drafted him here will notice it first and its somewhat more efficient to offer a trade to get the player on the roster of the team that drafted him (in exchange for a player the other manager doesn't want). Especially if we have waivers.

I think the exception would be if someone drafted Marilyn. Because that would clearly be intentional, good luck to Bob in getting her back. Thou shall not covet your division neighbor's CFers wife.
