Gratz and good luck guys!!
I'll have to remember to take part next time. You too Joe!!
I've never done the tournament. Not sure I have the time to devote to such an exercise. I barely get 5-6 teams in a season. I'll check it out when it comes up again I guess.
Meanwhile Corky goes up 3-1, but will have to play the next two w/o Trout. Of course, he scored 17 runs w/o Trout in game 4 so.....
Wow, Corky had a chance to finish it off tonight, took a one run lead in extras with 2nd and 3rd and No outs and Headley gets gunned at the plate on a 1-14 FODP to stiffle the rally. Then AT lights up Webb (no great shakes) on Webb's card to come from behind in the bottom of the inning.
Yeah Joe, was really hoping to wrap it up. I've seen too many teams come back down 3-1.
Although I can't complain because my team has been playing pretty well, these injuries are really becoming annoying. I lost Gomes for the first 3 games of the playoffs, Choo twice for 3 games (although 2 games were rest days), Cabrera for 3, and then the best player in the set Trout goes down for 3. Its not like these are injury prone guys...

Must be doubly frustrating when AT's injury-prone squad is playing with all his players.
Thanks Joe....its about time I won something in this tough league! Had a lot of fun this go around and I'm looking forward to playing with the next set!
