This tournament consists of eight leagues from different eras in baseball. I had a thought earlier today - should we have a final league consisting of the eight winners and four selected runner ups? Some managers, such as myself, would end up managing someone else's team. All teams are $80M teams; the main challenge would be whether the league should be DH or not.

What do the rest of you think of this concept? [And the thought came to me because I have a game credit to spare; I am not interested in another tournament, but I would consider one more league.]

One thing about this proposed league is that the teams would already be selected.

No problem. It's just the way the draft has worked out. In reality, I was usually pulling for the teams playing the Reds back in the 70s (as would any true blue Dodger fan back in those days).

I am always in. The issue will be there are players that will appear on multiple teams (different eras, year cards) and the game will not allow that as far as I know. Tough to say who gets whom in these situations. I like the idea of every owner picking a team of his choice from the tourney (your best team from the various events) to compete in a final league, or an all-star team from your various teams, but the same issue comes into play.
