It doesn't tell you who is unleashed though. I got the download all ready and Ernie checked it out too.

I don't want to draft until we know who is unleashed. Right now we know bubkiss. It would be a clustermuck.

Look at this! This email from SOM to Ernie says definitively that we'll know who is unleashed once the player set comes out. That's March!

This file is based off our Windows game and does not display the unleashed player set for the Online Game. However there will be an unleashed set for the 2013 player set when it is released.

one way around this...

To start drafting early, we would need to do one of two things....

Make this an unleashed keeper league for eternity

OR

Make this an unleashed keeper league the first season only, for the initial draft.

if there is a vote on this, I would vote for the initial season only, as an unleashed league.

this way, we can start drafting as soon as everyone is ready. For me to be ready tho, I need to buy the ratings download which wont be till after midnight tonight.

im fine with it being unleashed for the first seasons.

But also lets realize that we can at least start drafting cause we all know the top players, Miggy, Trout, Kershaw, Goldy and so on and so forth.

Just so you guys know....Castellanos from Detroit with his 17 AB's and Hamilton from Cincy with his 18 AB's are both listed in the ratings download. And there are other examples like that.

Hamilton may be the first 2+4e12 CF with a AAA steal rating that cost 6 million unleashed lol

Bogaerts is another one in the download with his 44 AB's. He had 59 OB chances and 39.6 hits vs. Lefties.

Catcher Josmil Pinto from Minnesota...Yep. He's in the download! And you'd be nuts not to target him in the first three rounds. Just based on his numbers in this ratings book.

If we want to draft now, we could draft only players with say 50+ AB or 30+IP, or numbers that would be assured to get a card for say 36 rounds then have a 4 round draft (in reverse order) for those players left when we know who is unleashed or players who will not have a card (ie Bethencourt C ATL, 1 at-bat type).
