I said this already in another post, but since people are still posting there preferences I'll do it again here:

1) bigmahon (commissioner) - 10 (changed upon further reflection)
2) jmlopp - 10
3) Lakeviewdave - 8
4) azpanthers - 8
5) thechamp87 - 10
6) WJS6768 -8
7) fredpaii - 8
8) the Turtle -10
9) nythawk- 10
10) Dr. Publix- no preference
11) The Ghost of Roger Maris - No preference
12) Michael Grammes 10 (the more the merrier)

10 wins! 8-)

We will go with 1 prospect draft each year, to be held following the annual Spring FA draft.

Please read the rules carefully regarding prospect eligibility.

Let's also go with the option to redraft an available ballpark after 2 years. The park draft will take place after the Spring FA draft, with the proviso that owners must declare their intention to switch prior to the FA draft.

So are we ready to draft now??

did we finalize how the draft will work? Not totally clear to me with all the options that were presented. Once we have that might be good to post updated rules and then we can begin!

Hi Dave, pretty sure we agreed the following regarding the draft:

1) only carded players are eligible for our league
2) we are not yet sure which fringe players will have cards
3) owners draft said fringe players at their own risk
4) any player drafted that ends up not having a card must be relinquished
5) owners who lose players in this way will replace them in a supplemental draft following the FA draft
6) I'm not publishing this in the official rules as it is a one off situation

Sound good?

I would like to start drafting tomorrow, so it's 'speak now or forever hold your peace' time. 8-)

Just so we re straight...

Ya draft Billy Hamilton in the X round

As per SOMs totally random way to decide who is in and who is out of the regular/unleashed sets, Billy Hamilton is unleashed.

The person that drafts him will have to drop him, and than get a pick in a supplemental draft following our initial FA draft AND once we know which card(s) are regular/unleashed/computer only card(s).

AND since he was dropped, that owner retains no rights to said player.

Correct?
