Something I never understood, shouldn't the draft move faster on the weekends?

Not in my experience. I'm used to seeing things come to a stop on the weekends. Considering the major NFL games going on now, I'd say we made good progress this weekend.

I can't wait to see the cheaper $ versions of Greg Maddux, Walter Johnson, Pete Alexander, Christy Matthews, Roger Clemens, and Juan Marichal on Opening Day.

For the uninformed, you must have the same dollar amount player on your team for your opening roster. However, after waivers, you can of course switch to different versions of a player. All part of the game.

DD site is down again, but we made good progress today. I'm heading for bed--many proxies set....

I've e-mailed Adrian twice now to get the site back up and running. Seems to go down in the evenings. I quizzed him about the outages, but not much coming out of that camp. We should make use of the time the site is up and just try to get it done as soon as possible. Something just tells me that this will be the last time we will be doing a live draft on this site unless it changes hands.

I'm not sure all of the managers would feel comfortable with that....For one thing, this would reveal draft strategies that the managers might use in future leagues....

But assuming that we complete the league in time for a Monday starting date (which looks like a pretty good likelihood) the finished teams will be viewable a week from today.

Yeah best to let you boys keep all that private until the links become available for all to see.

im fine with it being shared. everyone already copies my teams anyway.
