On sample of two dozen "live" drafts, I've never completed one in less than 7 days or without the looming threat of owners leaving due to skipped picks.

Any many thanks to moose for him timely tweaks that helped to keep things moving.

Also, I think we owe Adrian some thanks for keeping the DD draft site up for so long, as SOM has s-l-o-w-l-y developed their own live draft.

That' s how a draft goes with veteran strat players!
I just hope I can be competitive.

Yeah I'll be in this evening. Sorry, but had a technical society meeting last night and didn't get home until after 9 (Mountain time).

With HAL's random seating assignments, I'm glad he didn't seed my Sons of Pitches in the East or West.

Yeah, HAL with his well-known sense of humor put all four small-ball teams in the Central, where we can dink each other to death.

Isn't there a 5th small-ball team in the West—BruceF's in Petco?

BTW the Barnstormer's Finals live draft did not yield many impressive teams. Two clear favorites IMHO. Looks like another frustrating final for my good buddy Cristano. Hope to meet some more of those folks in live drafts real soon.

Although Druid was not brave enough to name his "Two clear favorites" at the present time. Maybe he'll wait until the end and tell us that's who he thought all along.
