Only just a bit. After shoring up my SPs I was sitting on Rasmus and Lagares with this next pick so when Rasmus went I figured I better pull the trigger on Lagares now just in case you might have been looking at him since there really isnt anything left in CF. Of course Carpenter would have been my next pick so you got me anyway

I know these are rare commodities, but I'm in need of a R-slanted slugger. I can move an SP, a pick, or anything for the right price. My lineup against LH looks pretty good:
CF Jennings
LF Ross
3B Wright
DH Raburn
C Navarro
RF Denorfia
1B Gonzalez
2B Cano
SS Simmons

So again, just need a power bat who can hit righties well. Also could be looking for a RP for the right offer but that's not as urgent.

Any Help possible here on the FA Draft? Just got back from work. I thought I had sent a proxy pick to Dave at noon with s selecting Kris Davis, and a proxy for my next pick too. At least I thought I had. I then attempted to send a pick to the thread for my selection via my iPhone. That must have gotten garbled, since. I just got back home from work and was that I was skipped, so logged on immediately and tried to pick way back up the list since my guy was still there and OUCH. Even as I was desperately trying to pick, Stoney swept in and post my planned pick way down near the bottom of the Round. Anything we can do or am I just out of luck??!. I vowed to see this draft through the right way and thought I had!

Qk seems to be up next so I plead for a momentary hold for an answer.

Send proxies to more than one person for starters, send them to 3...

As far as Stoney taking your guy, I'm guessing you're out of luck unless qk has the e-mail with your proxies and wants to dump everything and go back to your pick...cause there is a half an hour time difference between your posted pick and his. If we can't see it, how are we supposed to know it happened??

Niner, I certainly understand, so it would have to be Stoney's call. He cannot be responsible for the fact that I was dithering overt trying to find why my noon pick got stuck in my iPhone outbox, before he made his pick. I was not expecting to see me skipped. It was just super frustrating to find that in the time I was trying to make out what happened he picked exactly the man I wanted as I was getting ready to post the whole thing.

I understand the stupidity of trusting technology, but I only sent a message to Dave just to be safe. I was sure I had picked safely during my break. At least I would like to have the draft halt long enough for Stoney to let me know what he thinks so I do not lose another. Sound reasonable?

Stoney,

Let me know if there is anything I can offer to get your to trade Khris Davis to me if you plan to keep him?

I know it's my pick but pausing for a bit to get Cubit's scenario straightened out. Will pick around 3:20pm Pacific.

Thx,

Thank you Qk. I will not hold things up any further. I have only tried to figure out how this situation happened. I will pick and move on, and maybe hope I can work out a deal for the player I had in my sights.

Also guys, just a note on Davis (and Josmil Pinto for that matter). They may end up being included under our new rules, but they are the 2 guys I ID'd in my head as still being possible candidates for exclusion as Davis may end up higher than $6.5M salary and Pinto could be higher than $8M. I don't think it's likely but there is risk there, just thought I'd mention so both proud new owners are aware.

Gotta go get kids from school, pick on my return, also waiting for trade reply...

Thx,
Qk
