On this team, I'd like to have Edwin Jackson pitch as little as needed down the stretch. Is there a way to set the rotation so he only comes up when my only non * starter, Buchholz, needs his extra day's rest?
You should be able to do it by setting a 4-man rotation with Bucholz and leave the 5th spot blank. Then HAL will pitch Edwin when Bucholz is unable to go. I've done that before.

I'll give that a try, but since it didn't seem to be feasible when setting it up manually, I don't know. But - I will give that a try. Thanks.
Make sure after you put in your per game starters that at the bottom of the page hit save starters..I have done it a few times in the past. If you don't hit save it will not work

That didn't work - in fact, it had the opposite effect; Buchholz got skipped a turn and had to sit 7 games between starts while Jackson got his turn instead. Jackson didn't take the hint though - he's on a 7 or 8 game losing streak and going strong!
