perhaps some people feel, like I do, that 2012 is over and are waiting for the 2013 cards. I'd like to try and ATG though. ATG vets, would it be that difficult to join a live draft not having played ATG before? also, what do you think is a good cap. I don't care for leagues where the cap is too high.

that was due to the unlimited cap.

Now that you can choose a 80 or 100 mil cap, there isn't as much of an excuse.

It does seem like it should be more popular when drafting with a cap.

Well, having played on leagues with Jerry a number of times! I too found issues with the no-cap live league. No penalty for drops, pickups, etc.

I just had my first Live Draft last night, and it went very well. A few problems on my iPad, but on my Plc., easy breezy.

Live league with caps, once the draft is over, is no different than a n auto-draft.

I think it is way too early to say people aren't going to use the live draft options. I expect live drafts will pickup when people get use to it and when the new set comes out. I am looking forward to many future live drafts with salary cap. I signed up for one league so far and it did not fill, but I can be patience. The TSN live drafts were fun and these are even better with the cap option.

Steve......you should probably play an ATG VII league, try one of the $80 cap leagues now forming, before you do the Live Draft. Get your team together, then go to the ATG boards and ask the Veterans for some advice on your team (make sure to post a link). They are great guys and will give you honest opinions!!
To many teams, not enough time! Must be an addiction!!

Steve F, the latest ATG set player pool is so large and with a cap you can always put together a good team. I think you would enjoy it. I look forward to seeing you in a 2013 league....

durantjerry talked about controversies: for my first Live Draft, scheduled for next week, the commissioner changed the date and time two hours before the draft, which went off last night missing several members, including me. SOM is giving credits, but that sort of gamesmanship is one reason why people hate live drafts.

Wow, I would be upset if that happened. At least SOM did the right thing...

So all I need to do is create a live draft, for a week from now. Once it fill wake up at 12:30am, change the draft to 1 am and viola, I can draft all alone and get whomever the autodraft doesn't take!

Sounds like a game plan. then all the people are replaced by SOM and given their credit back, so I have no worries about people taking players I want in the FA list....

Hmm... sounds like an easy way to double my credits
