New Credit Reward System

PostSat Feb 08, 2014 9:00 am

I've been on the other side of this scenario...

My team wins 90 games and has a 13 game lead on it's division mates.

Another division has teams with 94-93-93 wins.

Shouldn't we change the credit reward system so all 4 playoff teams get 1 credit and any team that wins 90+ games gets a one half credit.

This rewards good to great play, and keeps at least one more team coming back for more.

I would certainly feel a little better if I won 93 games and did not make the playoffs.

If you can get SoM to agree to that- bet a lot of others would love it too :D

They seem to not be in the habit of giving more, but what do I know?

For some time I have thought that some changes were due in the reward system that we have now. I propose that in addition to the current 2 credits for winning it all and 1 credit for the runner-up, that half credits should be awarded for all the play-off teams and an additional half credit for the team with the best record in a given league. I believe that the incentive of winning these half credits will help maintain and create interest in joining additional leagues. It does get a bit discouraging to win 95 plus games and have nothing to show for it when you go out in the first round.

How about having a 99 win team go down in the Semis to an 81-81 team....that's what happened to me just a few days back....THANKS JEFF!

Well, if you notice, it's not like you rolled over the other team during the regular season. You only had a 7-5 record against them. So it sounds like in a short series it was a crap shoot.

Or why not just eliminate credits completely and lower the price 25%?
Then the satisfaction from winning is winning and everyone can afford to play more.

I like that idea.

I'm not a fan of not getting rewarded credits for winning championships. You should get something. Not sure if lowering the cost of teams a couple of bucks would generate more leagues. I haven't noticed any increase when they run the specials.

I've bought 0 over the last 2 specials.

So yea it's done nothing for me.
