First ATG team!

PostTue Feb 04, 2014 1:55 am

Hey guys, I wanted to experience a live draft and I'm burned out on the 2012 cards, so I jumped in to a live draft ATG league! I don't expect to be very good first time out, but if any of you vets care to comment on my team, or ESPECIALLY recommend a ballpark, I sure would welcome it.
thanks
Steve

I am not an expert so wait for wiser voices but given the other division teams I would be looking at the pitcher parks with a slight lefty bias......Rickwood, Terrapin, League 24, St Louis 20, West side 11.....

I'm looking at Stan Hack for 3bman vs righties (have Superman Pennington now) how is Hack?

I wouldn't go higher than $100M much less this virtually unlimited payroll. Have no clue.

I made this same mistake my first time ATG playing in a $200 cap league, and my poor performance left a sour taste in my mouth. After much advise by these wiser veterans such as Scumby, My next teams were in the $80-110 range where I faired much better. Good luck Steve, but in my humble opinion I think your first time out maybe should have been in the $80-100 area!!
To many teams, not enough time! Must be an addiction!!

Thanks guys. Yeah I figured it's not ideal but the draft was fun anyway. I don't have expectations, just having fun.
