It is interesting as far as carrying the prospects. Young guys that are 4 or 5 years away but talented create a dilemma when drafting. Sometimes I lean towards the maybe less talented guy but closer to the majors. I have 2 guys on my roster Bradley and Hultzen that I'll have to use roster spots on for probably 2 years before they help me, but I think they're worth it. Hopefully Bradley makes the D'Backs this year at pitches well so I could use him.
Not to mention I'm carrying Gibson, Profar, Gose, and d'Arnaud this year all good prospects but don't help much this year.
Plus veterans I want to hold on to that I can't really use, McCarthy, Street. Roster space is tight. Nest year will be interesting for me as well as I'll have 5 prospects that will have to be promoted. Really hoping Syndergaard and Barmes make the jump to the big leagues this year with some success. I think the other 3 are still another year away.
