Readily available list of New player Cards?

PostSat Feb 15, 2014 1:10 pm

Hi Guys,

Is there a readily available list of the first-time carded players in the 2013 Season set?

This would help folks in keeper leagues, etc.

Any help on this would be appreciated by all.

Thank you,

Artie

The short answer is no.

The long answer is, what do you mean by newly carded players?

Do you mean rookies that will have a card in the online game? If so there' no way of having a definitive list until the game is released.

Or do you mean rookies in general? in which case, someone has to generate a list of rookies ( easily attained from any number of places on the web, ESPN.com , MLB.com, etc.) compare that to last year's set to make sure none of those guys had a brief cup of coffee in 2012, then take the remaining list and compare it to the ratings download to see how many of them are Computer only or Addtionla Player set guys, none of which are in the online game. After that you have a general idea of who might be included, but even then some of those guys might be in the unleashed set.

So the long answer is no too, at least not without a whole lot of work, more work than I'd do for any league I'm running anyway. Maybe your commissioner has more time on his hands.

Thank you Niner. I hear you. I did mean rookies.

I do a lot of groundwork for all the leagues I join, and very often share it. I was just asking if there was something easy that had already been posted. Certainly not looking for anyone to do any work, etc.

If I do find such a list, I will post it here myself.

Thanks for your response.

Itching for 2013 Cards. ;)
