My quick thoughts on the difference between unleasehd batters and unleashed pitchers.
Given the following numbers off the top of my head, but in the ballpark of reality:
A batter's card is used roughly 4 times a game.
A starting pitcher's card is used roughly 24 times a game.
A relief pitcher in Strat can easily pitch 3 innings so lets say 15 times a game
A relief pitcher used a lot more than real baseball can pitch around 6 inning so that card would be used 20 times a game.
Therefore:
A batter offensively impacts his teams ability to score runs say 1/9 of the time so that is about 11% of each game.
compared to a pitcher
who impacts the opponents teams ability to score runs about 24/36 for a starter = 67% or a good Strat reliever 42% or a Strat Dominant used like mad reliever = 56% of a game.
Conclusion:
An unleashed pitcher would impact the result of a game a lot more than an unleashed Batter.
An unleashed batter will play in every game and offensively effecting his teams offense around 11% and an unleashed relief pitcher can appear in about 3 out of 4 games effecting the opponent's offense around 50%
So batter's effect around 11% (100% * 11%) and a relief pitcher's effect around 38% (roughly 75% * 50%) for each game of the season.
This is why unleashed relief pitchers are much different than unleashed batters in Strat.
